The table below shows a comparison of the attributes of each different codec available. Each different codec will appeal to different people according to their requirements. We generally only recommend using the MP3 codec as this is the only format that is almost universally accepted by different players. The MP3 format is also accepted by many DVD players, CD Players Car CD hi-fi units which no other format is.
